Attack Your Niche With Everything You Have
Building a great blog requires strategy, planning, patience, consistency. We’ll talk about how important is to realize the things that matter in your niche market. This is more like a general article but I think it’s important to address the issue.
What is my blog about? Sometimes the answer comes right away – sometimes it takes time to figure out. If you haven’t build any blogs before and now you’re working on your first be prepare to adapt to changes. Your blog will start as something and in time it will evolve into something else. We become better writers, we observe that certain topics get more attention and certain articles receive more comments.
Evolution. Our blog evolves because in time we start to realize different aspects of our niche. It’s not that important how do you start a blog and what type of articles you’ll write. What matters is for you to realize what your niche is about. In time you’ll have better articles and you’ll get an audience and later on a community. You can’t do that if you don’t know your niche and all of its aspects.
Knowing this will offer you some great ways to exploit it. You have to know what problems people encounter in this niche, how do they search the solutions to their problems, how to solve those problems, what suggestions to make, what type of people are interested in this niche and where to find them.
Interaction. In my opinion this is the way you can attack your niche: interact with people already interested in your blog and also search for others that are interested in your niche. If you receive a comment on your blog, go visit that persons blog – post a comment there and ask for a guest post. What you’ll get in exchange is the attention of those visiting that blog. Go on social networks and find people interested in your niche. Build a large and strong network. I have to admit that it will be impossible to interact with all. What I do is to try and interact as much as possible with the most influential users and rely on their networks to spread the word.
Friends. You won’t be able to do this with all of your interactions but if you’ll have 100 influential friends it will be enough because most likely they’ll talk about you with their friends and so your message will spread.
Comments. Interact with me by placing a comment here about this article. Share your thoughts on this subject and let me know what you think.
