Blogging for business
We all heard about blogs and we all red at least one article from a blog. We also have to admit that many of them are worthless information about what that person eat at breakfast or what they did at noon. Still, among the blogs out there, there are some containing valuable informations on so many different fields of interest. Many write about seo or site optimization, web design, photography, fitness, journalism, cocking, sport, modern news, gadgets and so on. The list could continue for a few pages. The important thing here is to realize that blogs are more that a method to write all sort of nonsens. Blogs are an opportunity to share your knowledge or your passion for all that it’s new. Or you can use them to promote your business.
The Blog, which is the short word for weblog, is something that these days is very popular. Everybody has one. Politicians use it to promote their campaigns, musicians to announce new album releases and new concerts, tv stars, doctors, architects. Even I have a blog. Very soon probably almost anyone will have a blog and discuss things that way. Maybe share a things or two.
The truth is that blogs became a very powerful tool to promote yourself or your business or if you are really good you could be paid to promote others business. The concept is very simple but not so easy to achive. Blogging for business means that you write on a blog articles, mostly about things that happen every day but have a connection with the blog theme (and the web site you are trying to promote), and you try to make connections between what is happening and what your business is all about (or your online store). You create the articles, write them good, have descriptive and relevant titles, create good meta description for each page and let Google index your pages. By creating content worth linking to you’ll get relevant traffic for your blog and since you promote a business or a website on that blog you’ll get a portion of that traffic to go to the web site or to be interested on the business you write about. I’ll try to give you some examples about how to blog for business. You have to first know very well the business you are trying to promote. This is a must because you have to be able to integrate it in real life articles with no problem. Then you have to realize that people are searching for solutions to their problems. So basically they have a situation and want to resolve that situation. This is what you have to create : situations that have your products as the solutions. For example : if you have an online shop that sells women lingerie. You then write articles of different ways to be romantic. How to end a romantic dinner. And here you can start with the elements that help create a romantic atmosphere like candles – link to the candles you are selling at a very good price – and then how to impress him with what you have underneath your close – link to the piece of lingerie on your web site. Or you can write about how to look slimmer on bed. You can even create odd situations because there are people that dig this. Like what to wear to impress your boss or ten ways to make the men where you work turn their heads over you. You can write all sorts of things. I’ll give you another example. If you are selling e cards. You can write about a recent story of some emigrant that cries after his dear ones. And then place a link to your e-cards that can deliver his feeling to them at a blink of an eye(or the click of a button).
All you have to know is how to create situations that have your products as an answer. At the end I would like to say that you also have to promote your blog(activate on forums, posting comments to other blogs that are related to yours). At least until you became well know and you establish your self as an expert in the market. Only then you’ll have quality back links to your blog and people subscribing to your blog. And all that traffic means money.

Some interesting advice. I think once all the methods are put in place, its time that helps your website grow the most.
Yes, you are wright : time can make your site grow but this kind of promoting is not adress to the web sites that publish articles. It’s for e-shops, business that don’t make money online, politicians in their campaign and so on.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
