Good breakdown about your process of working with Keywords on websites. The thing that jumped out the most to me was this:

"any service provider should think of keywords that are directly related to problems his services address. This also implies a good knowledge of your company: know what you really sell."

This is something that seems so obvious when you hear it, but is most times overlooked my many when putting keyword structures together for the websites they work on. Well done. Also thanks for the research tools list that was very helpful as well.

What is your tracking tool of choice to quantify your search ranking results from the optimization efforts you work on?

@Jeannette Paladino - Thank you for your comment. Yes, you are right: you also have to have some content that is just useful to people. Sometimes you can incorporate keywords, some times you just don't care - if the content has the ability to go viral then it's better.

This is an excellent examination of key words. Thanks for the free tools list -- a good reminder that you need to be re-evaluating your key words regularly. I want to add, however, that you still need to write what you are passionate about, even if the key words are not arranged as you suggest. I've gotten good comments on blogs that were close to my heart, regardless of key words. It is a delicate balance that isn't always easy to achieve.
